Barcelona hammers Real 5-0 to win El Classico

By Abdul Nisar
Camp Nou, Nov 30: Real Madrid's coach Jose Mourinho did not want to remember El Classico again. Even, the fans of Real also won't like to recall Monday, Nov 29 night. That was the depth humiliation which Barcelona made on them.

In the grand Spanish El Classico match, Barcelona hammered Real Madrid and it was for 5-0. The win over Real made Barcelona the toppers in La Liga and probably at the top of the soccer world.

Barcelona played brilliant total football over Real in front of its public at Camp Nou stadium. Barca controlled the game with more than 70 percent of ball possession. Barca players netted the ball 5 times which showed the weakness of Real defence.

The El Classico match can be better defined as the fight between two world class players, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Messi magic worked for Barca and he executed his plans well in the middle. His terrible dribbling and through passes proved his class once again.

Where as, Cristiano again failed to lead his team in big matches. His efforts ended in vain and more over, over reacted out of pressure. He pushed Barca coach Pep Guardiola while collecting the ball.

Pep Guardiola"s brilliant team completely destroyed Real Madrid. Xavi scored the first goal for Barca at 10th minute. Messi, Xavi and Pedro controlled the middle and Real goal keeper Casilas faced continuous attacks.

The second goal came at the 20th minute as Pedro netted the ball from David Villa's pass. Villa added the third goal at 55th minute and fourth at 58th minute from Messi's through passes.

The final goal was scored by substitute Jeffren at the final minute. Later Sergio Ramos was red-carded for pushing Carles Puyol in the face.

"I"ve never lost 5-0 before. It was a very deserved win and deserved loss so it"s easy to digest. It"s a punishment for a team that played very badly," Mourinho said after the match.
