Becks to spend Thanksgiving at US army base in Germany

Washington, Nov 19 (ANI): Brit footballer David Beckham is set to spend his Thanksgiving holiday at an American army base in Germany in a bid to boost soldiers' morale.

Beckham, 34, will fly into Kaiserslautern, southwest Germany on November 23 with his Los Angeles Galaxy teammates to visit U.S. troops and their families, reports Contactmusic.

The footie ace will meet wounded war veterans during a trip to the Landstuhl Regional Medical Centre, where military staff receive treatment for their injuries.

He will also take part in a friendly soccer game against local team Kaiserslautern FC on November 26. (ANI)
