Benson, Bowden to stand on India's Boxing Day Test

Dubai, Dec 12 (UNI) Englishman Mark Benson and Billy Bowden of New Zealand will officiate as field umpires in India's first Test against Australia in Melbourne starting on Boxing Day (December 26).

Benson will be joined by West Indian Steve Bucknor for the second Test in Sydney (January 2-6) while Pakistani Asad Rauf will team up with Bucknor for the third Test in Perth (January 16-20) and Bowden for the fourth Test in Adelaide (January 24-28).

Mike Procter will oversee all the four Tests of the series as Match Referee, an ICC statement said today.
