Bengaluru, March 28: An Indian-American Bhangra group became internet sensation after they were seen performing their tradition dance form during the half-time of an NBA game.
It was a match between two NBA sides Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies in the USA on Sunday, March 26, night at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California.
The group is named Bhangra Empire which comprises of total 32 dancers, 16 men and 16 women.
In an attempt to promote the game in India, NBA are doing their every possible bit. For example, they celebrate 'Bollywood Nights' during several Basketball matches.
This recent gimmick of bringing in Indo-American dancers has definitely created an interest among the Indian audience.
The Facebook video released by the official NBA India handle of Bhangra Empire has already attracted more than a 200,000 views.
