The inaugural Bharat Sports Science Conclave, set to take place in New Delhi on February 28, has attracted a roster of esteemed participants as the biggest minds of the game discuss enhancing performance through the implementation of scientific methods.

Aside from the luminaries in the field of sports, the conclave will also feature top sports science experts. The gathering aims to explore the potential of sports science in elevating the performance of Indian athletes, with a particular emphasis on preparing for the Vision Olympics 2036.

Olympic Gold Medallist Neeraj Chopra and India's first individual Olympics gold medallist Abhinav Bindra. Apart from them, 2003 World Championship Bronze medallist Anju Boby George, Indian cricketer Deepak Chahar will be also present to express their perspectives, thus enriching the exchange of ideas.

South African Athlete Performance Specialist Wayne Lombard and President of Indian Rugby Football Union Rahul Bose will also be at the event.

Vani Bhushanam, Dr. Pralay Majumdar, Dr. Nanaki J Chadha, Dr Pierre Beauchamp, and Amey Kolekar stand out as contributors to the conclave, bringing their expertise in nutrition, sports science education, psychology, and sports performance to the forefront. Their participation underscores the comprehensive approach the conclave is taking towards sports science.

Udit Sheth, Founder and Chairman of TransStadia University, expressed his enthusiasm for the conclave, citing India's ambition to host the 2036 Olympics as a catalyst for advancing in all sports-related fields. Among the highlights of the conclave are a special session by TOPS CEO, Cmdr PK Garg, focusing on athlete performance, and a presentation on Integrity and Fair Play by Mr. Virendra Rajput from the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA). These sessions are expected to provide valuable insights into the ethical considerations and integrity measures essential to sports.
