BIG RJ Marathon rolled across all 44 stations

Ahmedabad, Aug 12 (UNI) BIG RJ Marathon has been rolled across all 44 stations of BIG FM in India including at its stations in Surat, Vadodara and Rajkot in great style. This spike has been chosen to make the residents of Gujarat feel more ''connected'' to the on-going Olympics Games in Beijing.

There were three levels of the RJ Marathon. The entry level was called 92.7 hours Marathon wherein the RJs were required to host their show non-stop for 92 hours and seven minutes according to an BIG FM station release.

In Rajkot, RJ Sujal and RJ Anirudhh kicked off the BIG RJ Marathon at exactly 0800 hrs on August 8 and they jocked non-stop till 0400 hrs on 12 August, ie a total of 100 hours. RJ Tejal and RJ Dixita of Vadodara station, who started their show at 2 pm on August 11 will continue to host their show till 10 am on August 15 ie 92 hours and seven minutes nonstop.

The second-level of BIG RJ MARATHON was 105 hours which is meant to create record under Limca Book of Records. RJ Setuu held the flag of Surat high by RJing non-stop since the morning of August 8 till August 12.

An Olympic torch was lighted when BIG Clients, friends from media, listeners, colleagues, fans and every Surti has supported Setuu in helping her include Surat's name in the Limca Book of Records.

Total 15 stations out of the 44 BIG FM stations attempted for the 105 hours record which included Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Jammu, Amritsar, Patiala, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Srinagar, Kanpur, Udaipur, Bareily, Aligarh and Gwalior.

The final level is for the Guinness Book of World Records and RJ Dheena of Chennai BIG FM is attempting to break the 177 hours record set by a previous RJ. RJ Marathon is part of the larger BIG OLYMPIAD programme which will be rolled out in three stages at various BIG FM stations across India.
