Bollywood, sports stars to cheer Silver Citizens in Mumbai marathon

Mumbai, Jan 15 (UNI) A galaxy of sports and Bollywood stars will cheer the participants of the Senior Citizens Run, organised by the Harmony for Silvers' Foundation, at the fourth edition of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon (SCMM) on January 21.

Among the distinguished personalities from the world of cinema and sports Urmila Matondkar, Pooja Batra, Manisha Koirala, Jackie Shroff and ace shooters Jaspal Rana and Manavjit Singh will be there cheering for the Silvers', a release issued here today said.

The Harmony For Silvers' Foundation, is an NGO working to enhance the quality of life of the elderly in India and this is the third year in succession they are supporting the Senior Citizens Run.

Speaking about being part of the cheering squad, actress Urmila Matondkar said in the release that she was extremely pleased to be part of the Harmony-supported Senior Citizens Run. ''Initiatives such as this go a long way in helping our elders lead a productive and fulfilling life,'' she added in the release.
