Bengaluru, August 12: Champion sprinter Usain Bolt will light up the track for the last time as as era in athletics is set to end after the 4x100M relay final at the London World Championships.

The Jamaican is hoping to step away from the track having won his 20th global championship title, something he was denied last week when he finished third in the 100M behind American Justin Gatlin.

After Gatlin gate crashed Bolt's 100M party, the 30-year-old would be hoping to sign out from the big stage with another yellow metal.

Team US, led by 100M champion Gatlin and silver medallist Christian Coleman will once again look to stop Bolt in his track in the relays in which baton changes is the key.

Fans flocking to the London Stadium on Saturday will probably be treated to a double dose of the 30-year-old sprint legend as Bolt plans to take part in the relay heats in the day's first session.

There will be a fair amount of emotion from the stands as Mo Farah also runs in his last track race - the 5,000 metres final.

The Briton is aiming to complete an unprecedented World Championship triple-double, having retained his 10,000m title on the first day - the home nation's only medal.

The emotional swansong stories of Bolt and Farah will surely grab headlines as evident in some of the tweets from leading media houses.

All said and done, the stage is set for the curtains to come down on two of the greatest individuals to have ever graced the sport.
