The Indo-Pakistani duo broke their Romanian-Spanish opponents early in the first set to take it 6-3 in quick time but had to stave off a late challenge in the second set before coming out 7-6 victorious in a tight tie breaker in a quarter-final match at the DLTA Complex.

In the semi-finals, they will meet the pair of Benjamin Balleret (Monaco) and Sebastien de Chaunac (France) who got the better of Indo-American pair of Mustafa Ghouse and Patrick Briaud 6-3, 7-5 in another quarter-final match.
