Bopanna-Qureshi duo clinch title in Nottingham

London, July 28: Third seeds Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul Haq Qureshi clinched the doubles title of the 21,000 euro ATP Nottingham Challenger with a straight set victory over second seeds Mustafa Ghouse of India and Joshua Godall of Great Britain in the final of the grass court event here.

The Indo-Pak pair won 6-3, 7-6(5) to walk away with their second title in two weeks in the ATP Challenger circuit this year. The duo had earlier won the Manchester Challenger last week.

Meanwhile, in the singles competition, top seed Qureshi faltered at the last hurdle as he lost to second seed Alun Jones of Australia 3-6, 6-4, 4-6 in the final.
