BPCL Sink Navy for title

Chennai, Apr 1 (UNI) Bharat Petroleum Corporations Limited (BPCL) lifted the title with a 3-1 win over Indian Navy in the first SRM All India Invitation Volleyball Tournament here today.

In the final the BPCL men emerged the winners 25-20, 22-25, 25-21, 25-20.

The navy was on the defensive after drawing level on set score, losing the first. They won the second set 25-22. But the BPCL team combined better with good coordination in defence and attack.

In the match to decide the thrid and fourth places, Kochi Port Trust beat Southern Railway 25-27, 25-21, 14-25, 26-24, 15-10.
