BPL to bring alive Olympics on mobile phones

Mumbai, Aug 7 (UNI) Fans will now be able to track India's progress at the Beijing Olympics on their mobile phones with 'Olympics @Cafe' on the BPL Mobile WAP portal - atcafe.bplmobile.com.

With this unique service, BPL Mobile subscribers can follow the schedule of events, medal tallies, news, action-packed pictures, trivia, profiles of sportspersons, records made and the previous ones broken and lots more, a release issued here today said.

BPL Mobile is providing this service in association with Mobile ESPN.

What sets this WAP service apart is the 'Indians@Beijing section'', which encapsulates India's performance through the years in sports like Hockey, Tennis, Shooting and Wrestling, along with analysis on India's medal prospects in various sports like archery, athletics, shooting and tennis in Olympics.

This segment also includes in-depth analysis on Indian Athletes at the Olympics - from Indian Athlete performance to Athlete profiles, India's Olympic history and more, the release added.
