Bengaluru, July 27: Former Formula One champion Jenson Button paid tributes to his late father on his 74th birthday.
Jenson's father John, who was born on July 27, 1943, was a rally cross driver.
His best overall results were both in 1976, as the runner-up in the RAC-MSA British Rallycross and TEAC/Lydden Rallycross championships.

Button Senior died at the age of 70 from a suspected heart attack on January 12, 2014.
The 2009 world champion with Brawn GP, is still under contract with McLaren, with whom he raced between 2010 and 2016, as a reserve driver.
He had made a one-off comeback at the Monaco Grand Prix in place of Fernando Alonso in May.
