London, Apr 28: British racer Jenson Button has won approval of racing wizard, Michael Schumacher.

The seven-time world beater has been mightily impressed after seeing the Brit racer to three wins in the opening four races.

That is according to Button's team chief Ross Brawn, who guided the German supremo to glory at Benetton and then Ferrari.

Brawn said, "I've spoken to Michael about Jenson. He always had a lot of respect for Jenson when we were at Ferrari but he has the highest respect for him now."

Button's shimmering display in Bahrain on Sunday doubled his championship lead to 12 points before F1 returns to Europe.
