Caitlin Clark, the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year, might soon rejoin the Indiana Fever. She has been sidelined for three games due to a left quad strain. Clark began the 2025 season strongly, averaging 19 points, 9.3 assists, and six rebounds over four games. Despite her absence, Indiana managed a win against the Washington Mystics after two losses.

The Fever are currently third in the Eastern Conference with a 3-4 record. The New York Liberty lead with an impressive 8-0 start. Minnesota Lynx also boast an unbeaten record in the West. Clark praised her teammates' resilience during her absence, highlighting their adaptability under coach Stephanie White's guidance.

Clark expressed optimism about her recovery progress but remains cautious about rushing back. "I'll miss this weekend's game but after that, it's day-by-day and I'll see how I feel, and just turn to the medical staff and what they think," she said. Her return could be as early as Tuesday against the Atlanta Dream.

Indiana faces a road game against the Chicago Sky on Saturday without Clark. Despite missing their point guard, Clark believes her team has shown determination and adaptability. "I think they've been really resilient," she noted, acknowledging the challenges of adjusting to new roles in her absence.
