Capello's riot act to England players to behave or be axed

By Super Admin

London, Feb 24 (ANI): England boss Fabio Capello is all set to read the riot act to the squad to behave or face the axe next Monday, ahead of the Wembley friendly with Egypt.

Capello will also have a separate face-to-face meeting with John Terry and Wayne Bridge to inform the pair to leave any personal problems they may have with each other out of England team business.

That message will also be sent to love cheat Ashley Cole, who has been caught out after sending nude pictures of himself to a model while on international duty.

Capello, who is in South Africa checking out England's World Cup facilities, said: "The players have to understand what I want if they want to stay with me. That is very important, because we need to create the group."

"When we get together at the team hotel next week, I will speak to the players. I prefer to speak in person; I don't like speaking on the phone. After a four-month break, we'll meet the players next week for what is a vital game," The Sun quoted Capello, as saying.

"And part of that is to talk about how important it is to behave well when you are representing England," he added.

The players will gather next Sunday night, with the Egypt fixture being played on Wednesday.

Terry and Bridge are due to meet earlier when Chelsea play Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. (ANI)
