Carlton Cole used to smuggle ketchup into England camp

London, Dec 14 (ANI): West Ham striker Carlton Cole has confessed that he used to sneak in ketchup into the English camp because the diet was very strict.

Cole could not cope up with coach Fabio Capello's tasteless menu on his first trip and so he decided to get his own sauce.

"Fabio is a disciplinarian. You need to live by his rules or you will not be involved," the Sun quoted him, as saying.

"But I didn't know how strict the diet was."

He added: "I was dying. I needed something on my pasta.

"So on our next trip I took a little sachet.

"I'll stick to the rules from now on - but I am the ketchup guy." (ANI)
