Central Rly win Gold Cup

Indore, Jan 21 (UNI) Central Railway, Mumbai, humbled Northern Railway, Gorakhpur, 3-1 today in the final of the Rameshchandra Sharma Memorial All-India Gold Cup Football Tournament organised by the Central Gymkhana Club at the Indore Christian College Ground.

Shafeel Khan and Kasim Jamal scored two goals for the victors before half-time while Pradeep scored the solitary goal for Northern Railway.

A few minutes before the final whistle, Karim Sheikh made the score read 3-1.
