World-renowned stand-up paddleboard (SUP) athlete Daniel Hasulyo is set to make a significant impact on water sports in India by organizing his inaugural SUP race clinic.
Scheduled from November 30th to December 3rd, the clinic aims to introduce and elevate the competitive aspect of Stand-Up Paddling in India, a sport marked as the world's fastest-growing water sport and aspiring for inclusion in the Olympics by 2028 or 2032.

Daniel Hasulyo, a former World Champion in the SUP circuit, brings his extensive expertise and passion to the Indian shores. The clinic caters to both intermediate and seasoned paddlers, offering an immersive experience in refining techniques, understanding race strategies, and developing the mental conditioning crucial for success in competitive SUP events.
"I am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to this vibrant community," said Daniel Hasulyo. "This clinic is not just about honing skills but fostering a community of paddlers passionate about the sport."
Participants can anticipate personalized coaching sessions, on-water demonstrations, and interactive workshops covering various aspects of SUP racing. The clinic also delves into equipment selection, fitness routines, and race-day preparation, providing a comprehensive approach to the sport.
In a strategic collaboration, WrkWrk - Co-working Space has partnered with the Surfing Swami Foundation and Mantra Surf Club to promote the region as a hub for water sports enthusiasts and emphasize the growing interest in paddleboarding in India.
This initiative aligns with Daniel Hasulyo's mission to globally expand the reach of SUP and nurture talent in emerging markets.
The inaugural SUP race clinic is set to unfold at Mantra Surf Club, with top SUP athletes like Akash Shetty from Karnataka, Manikandan, and Santosan from Tamil Nadu confirming their participation. The event not only aims to enhance SUP skills but also to build a community of passionate paddlers in India.
