Cheema returns advance money to local club

Agartala, Apr 25 (UNI) Footballer Cheema Okerie has returned the advance money of Rs 1.5 lakh to a local club here for failing to play on behalf of the club last season.

Cheema Okerie, who played for Kolkata and Mumbai-based clubs during 2002-03, failed to turn up for the club games.

The Club authority sued Cheema for breaching the terms of the agreement.

The footballer who is on bail now, will appear before the court here on May 15 for final solution to the problem, according to Club sources.
