Chess GM laments lack of sponsors, trainers
Agra, Jan 22 (UNI) Chess Grandmaster Surya Shekhar Ganguly today lamented that lack of sponsors and good trainers was affecting the game in the country.
''Indian chess talent is faced with the lack of sponsors and quality trainers,'' Mr Ganguly told UNI on his visit to the Taj City here.
''Chess is played in about 108 countries, but the Indian chess player is not getting encouragement,'' he underlined.
