Chetan Chauhan backs India to win at Kanpur

New Delhi, Apr 9 (UNI) Former Test opener Chetan Chauhan today said Team India will bounce back in the third Test starting on April 11 at Kanpur.

''We should forget the last match. Although we are worried but players will come back hard. It is a new match, conditions will be different at Green Park, India will definitly win the match,'' Chauhan told UNI here.

Replying to a question on the fitness problems of some of the prominent Indian players that may jeopardise the Indian Premier League (IPL), he said that players will be fit on time to play in the much publicised event.

''T20 is not as hectic as Test or One-Day matches. It takes only three hours and rest days are there for the players and also the matches will takes place in evening,'' he said.

Although Chauhan is satiisfied with the composition of the Delhi Daredevils, he said the services of pace sensation Ishant Sharma, Virat Kohli and Akash Chopra could be asset for the team.

''We will miss these players but it is not upon us to put all players whom we wished,'' he added.

Chauhan also said that the presence of foreign players will be another attractive part of the cash rich event.

'' Foreign players are prominent part of teams. They are very professional but it depends on the coach and captains of the team to extract best out of them,'' he said.
