New Delhi, Oct 2: Home Minister, P Chidambaram visited the Commonwealth Games' venues on Saturday, Oct 2, just a day before the games to start.
Accompanied by Village Mayor, Dalbir Singh and other officials of the CWG Organising Committee, Chidambaram inspected the international zone, which houses different recreational facilities such as cafeterias, massage parlour, bar and discotheques.
He also took a look on the ares like residential complexes and saw practice and dining facilities inside the Games Village spread in 63.5 hectares area.
The Home Minister also inquired about the security in the Games' village from the senior police officials" in-charge of security of the Village.
Over 6,000 national and international athletes would participate in the CWG 2010.
