Ch Rameshwari bags fourth gold

Ranchi, Feb 21 (PTI) India''s star rider Ch RameshwariDevi continued her golden run, picking up the fourth yellowmetal today as Manipur dominated the Sidho Kanhu VelodromeStadium in the 34th National Games here.

Having claimed a hat-trick of gold medals yesterday,Rameshwari bagged the women''s 200m sprint today, pipping herstatemate K Suchitra Devi, with a timing of 13.876.

Kerala''s Kezia Verghese had to be content with a thirdspot finish.

Manipur clinched their second gold in the men''s 200msprint cycling event when Asia Cup (Japan round) bronzemedallist Bikram Singh Okram of Manipur claimed his secondgold with a timing of 13.338 en route to the 200m sprinttitle.

Punjab''s Amrit Singh and R L Manoj of Services won thesilver and bronze, respectively.

Pankaj Kumar of Haryana clinched the men''s 6km scratchtitle with a timing of 09:51.30, while Amandeep Singh (Punjab)and Manpreet Singh Kalsi (Maharashtra) settled for silver andbronze, respectively.

Gurpreet Kaur earned Punjab the title in women''s 4kmscratch, clocking 07:27.723, while Rejani V (Kerala) and TNita Devi (Manipur) finished with silver and bronze.
