Christle House charity golf tournament on March 16

Mumbai, Mar 14 (UNI) Christle House in association with PUMA Sports India Limited will host the Christle House Open charity golf tournament on March 16 at the Bombay Presidency Golf Club here.

Puma India managing director Rajiv Mehta told a press conference here today, ''With Christle House's commitment to realize the needs of the underprivileged children, we hope to create greater awareness and generate funds through this tournament for the cause of such children.'' He said Puma India will take the lead sponsorship of the Christle House's flagship fund raising event - the Christle House Open Golf - in three leading Indian cities of Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi this year.

This year the tournament in Mumbai coincides with the opening of the Puma store at Vama.

Christle House executive advisor Raju Shahani, speaking on the occasion said, ''Our partnership with Puma India is an endorsement for our efforts to facilitate a holistic education for the underprivileged children.'' This is the fifth year of this charity golf event and collections from this tournament will go towards the development and education of the children at Christle House.
