CM promises grand reception for Manipur team of National Games

Imphal, Feb 21 (UNI) Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh congratulated the National Games medallists for helping the state bag the second position and promised a grand welcome after the Assembly elections.

''These young sportspersons have brought fame and glory for Manipur,'' he said.

''The state has always proven its mettle in the field of sports at national level. Each and every citizen of Manipur is happy with their performance,'' he added.

The chief minister also congratulated the coaches and officials who went along with the teams.
