Stephen Curry expressed pride in his career longevity after matching an NBA milestone set by Michael Jordan. During the Golden State Warriors' narrow 109-108 win over the San Antonio Spurs, Curry scored 49 points. This victory marked their first in this year's NBA Cup. At 37, Curry equalled Jordan's record of scoring 40 or more points in a game 44 times since turning 30.

Curry celebrated his achievement by holding up a two and a three with his fingers, honouring Jordan, who famously wore number 23. Reflecting on his performance, Curry said, "I threw it up backward though. That's the second time I've done that. But that's pretty cool just from an individual accomplishment perspective. Longevity is something I pride myself on."

Curry also shared insights into a pre-game talk by head coach Steve Kerr. Kerr, who played with Jordan at the Chicago Bulls, rarely discusses those days.
