Abhinav Bindra with his gold medal
Bangalore, July 25: Yes, he did it. Abhinav Bindra added another feather to India's glory in Commonwealth Games (CWG), yet again. The star shooter of the country clinched gold medal during CWG 2014 in Glasgow on Friday, July 25.

CWG Special

The legend must be very happy as he succeeded to bid adieu to CWG with pride as Glasgow CWG would be his last Commonwealth Games. The Beijing Olympic gold medallist earlier had tweeted Glasgow will his fifth and last.

Writing on micro-blogging site Twitter, Bindra earlier had tweeted, "Tom I will compete in my 5 th cwg. This will be my last appearance at the games Hope to have some fun. So friends pray and wish me some luck :-)"

While 31-year-old Bindra won Gold in 10 metre Air Rifle shooting in Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow, 16-year-old Malaika Goel won a silver medal in the women's 10m Air Pistol event.

Bindra had won the 10m Air Rifle gold in the Beijing Summer Olympics in 2008. He is the only Indian who has clinched an individual gold medal at Olympics. He is the first and only Indian to have held both the World and Olympic titles at the same time.
