Daniel Dubois is determined to continue his journey after reclaiming the IBF heavyweight title by defeating Anthony Joshua. Oleksandr Usyk vacated the belt, allowing Dubois to claim it by default. However, Dubois proved his worth with a decisive fifth-round knockout of Joshua at Wembley Stadium. The fight attracted a record-breaking crowd for an all-British clash.
Dubois expressed his gratitude and determination after the victory, stating on DAZN, "I've only got a few things to say, are you not entertained?! It's been a journey and I'm grateful to be in this position. I'm a gladiator, I'm a warrior until the bitter end. I want to get to the top of this sport and reach my full potential."

Looking ahead, Dubois has set his sights on challenging top fighters like Usyk. He dreams of facing the best in pursuit of further redemption. "All of the best, maybe Usyk [for] a big shot at my redemption. Anyone can get it," he stated.
Meanwhile, Tyson Fury and Usyk are scheduled for a rematch in Riyadh this December. Dubois is keenly waiting for an opportunity to face either of them. However, Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn has indicated that Joshua might activate a rematch clause against Dubois.
Frank Warren, Dubois' promoter from Queensbury Promotions, is eager for another chance against Usyk. Warren believes Dubois has improved since their last encounter in August last year when he suffered injuries during the fight.
"It was a phenomenal fight and I always felt it would be a [Marvin] Hagler versus [Thomas] Hearns situation," Warren told DAZN. "AJ showed his heart right until the end. It was a brilliant fight."
The WBO interim heavyweight champion Joseph Parker has also expressed interest in fighting Dubois while waiting for Fury and Usyk's bout later this year. Parker said on DAZN, "If he [Dubois] wants to get it on then let's go."
Joshua attempted to regain control during the fifth round but was ultimately overpowered by Dubois' decisive right-hand punch. This victory left many wondering about Joshua's future prospects after being knocked down multiple times during the match.
Dubois shared his emotions with Sky Sports: "I am the man... A mix of emotions. I can't say too much right now. I'm fighting to get all the glory."
As Dubois continues his quest for greatness in boxing, fans eagerly await his next move in this thrilling chapter of heavyweight boxing.
