DCF defeated NICS Patiala

Patiala, June 6 (UNI) Dronacharya Cricket Foundation (DCF), Delhi, defeated NICS, Patiala, by 5 wickets in the 9th Hot Weather Cricket Tournament (under-13) played here today at Yadavindra Public School ground.

DCF won the toss and elected to field. NICS were all out for 142 in 38.4 overs. Nikhil Kumar (32), Mandeep Singh (19), Karan Pathak (16), Ekjot (16) were the main scores.

For DCF, Arsh took 3 for 25, Prateek took 3 for 29 and Abhishek bagged 2 wickets for 10 runs.

In reply, DCF scored 145 for 5 in 27.5 overs. Ashish played a magnificent innings of 74 and was unbeaten. Ekjot was the only NICS successful bowler, capturing 2 for 25.

In another match of the Tournament, played at MES ground, Black Elephant thrashed Patiala Cricket Association (New Gymkhana X1) by nine wickets in a one-sided match. Anmolpreet Singh (46 not out) and Prabhjot Singh (42 not out) were the stars for Black Elephant.
