CWG CEO gives Kalmadi 10-day deadline

New Delhi, Aug 8: Mike Fennell, CWG Federation President has set the Organising Committee (OC) a 10-day deadline to put their house in order and said that the corruption charges against the committee were a major concern.

In an email interview with the Hindustan Times, Fennell said, by the time of my next scheduled visit to Delhi on Aug 18-19, we have asked the Organising Committee to secure a report from each of the government agencies responsible for the delivery of venues.

"The federation also wanted the OC to provide confirmation report from fire, health and safety, which have been secured for each venue," he added.

Mike said, the federation also wanted the fitness certificate from each of the agencies involved in the preparation of the stadiums - the central and state public works department, the Delhi Development Authority and the Sports Authority of India.
