Deccan Chargers, King XI, Punjab to lock horns

Hyderabad, Apr 30 (UNI) Fancied Deccan Chargers will make all out effort to pull off an impressive win at home for the first time, even as King XI, Punjab will put in best efforts to continue its winning streak in their league match of the DLF Indian Premier League at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here tomorrow.

While the Chargers will be missing the services of Australian all-rounder Andrew Symonds, the visitors will be playing the match without speedster Brett Lee. Sreesanth is also likely to miss the match, as he was suffering from flu.

Confident of putting a better performance, Chargers captain told reporters after a practice session that ''we will strive to play to our potential to register first home win''.

Cautious King XI captain Yurvraj Singh, who steered his team to score two convincing wins in the earlier outings said ''the competition is tough. We are preparing technically to deal with the situation tomorrow''.

Laxman hoping to pile up a good score said ''the pitch is full of runs.I will strive to achieve cent per cent strike rate''.

''We will use Shahid Afridi according to the situation'' Laxman added.

Acknowledging that it was a good batting wicket, Singh was equally confident of pilng up a huge score.
