Delhi Golf Club Members League: Christie’s Golf Clinches Nerve-tingling Victory

Christie’s Golf edged Baale Golf in a tense day-two finish at the 5th edition of the 'Delhi Golf Club Members League powered by Radico’. The teams were level at three game wins each. Christie’s Golf then took the seventh game to seal the match 8-6 on the par-72 Delhi Golf Club course.

Elsewhere, The Pioneers beat Legends 9 by 8 points to 6. Shiva Mahindra and The A-Team shared honours, finishing 6-6. Sudhir Power controlled the last clash, winning five of seven games. Bharat Strikers won only the second game, while the fifth game ended tied.

The key results from March 27, 2026 are listed below. Each match featured seven games between pairs. Points were decided by overall results across those games, rather than a single match scoreline. The closest finish came in the Christie’s Golf versus Baale Golf meeting, which went to a decider.

In the Christie’s Golf match, the opening two games were shared. Christie’s Golf then moved ahead with back-to-back wins in games three and four. The DGC Members League is played in a four-ball better ball matchplay format. It runs in two phases, starting with a Round Robin stage. Each playoff match uses seven pairs per team, totalling 14 players. All players compete off 90% of original handicaps, and teams earn points for wins.

A total of 24 teams are split into four groups for Round Robin play. Teams face others within the same group. The top two teams in each group advance to the Knock-out stage, starting with the quarter-finals. Knock-out ties also use seven pairs per team, and the Grand Finale is set for April 18, 2026.

The league is scheduled across 16 days on the Delhi Golf Club course. Day-two ended with Christie’s Golf holding the headline result after the late decider.
