Delhi school trounce Oriental Academy 2-0

New Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) A brace in the first half by Avie Kakkar helped Vasant Valley school, Delhi trounce Oriental Academy, Manipur 2-0 in the sub-junior category of the Subroto Cup here today.

In the 34th minute, Avie scored the first goal for the home side while he increased the margin by another goal in the next minute.

In the other match of the day in the sub-junior category, Dhekial HS school, Assam overpowered MSP Higher Secondary school, Kerala by a solitary goal which came in the 19th minute through Shyam Murah.
