Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams has avoided legal trouble after prosecutors decided not to pursue charges in his gun-related case. The NFL also confirmed that it will not impose any disciplinary action, allowing Williams to continue his career without any setbacks.
The case stemmed from an October 8, 2023, traffic stop in Detroit, where Williams and his brother were pulled over. During the stop, police found two legally registered firearms inside the vehicle. However, Williams did not have a concealed pistol license (CPL), which initially raised concerns about potential legal repercussions.
