DLTA announces cash incentives for National Games winners

New Delhi, Feb 3 (UNI) Delhi Lawn Tennis Association (DLTA) today announced a cash award of Rs 50,000 for individual Gold winners in tennis competition in the National Games to be held at Guwahati from February 9 to 18.

The Silver medallists will receive Rs 25,000 while the Bronze winners will be given Rs 12,000.

For the team events in both men and women, all the players and the coaches will share Rs 1 lakh if they win Gold, Rs 50,000 for a Silver medal finish and Rs 25,000 for a third place finish, a release said here.

Meanwhile, Divij Sharan, Ashutosh Singh, Navdeep Singh and Shivang Mishra were named in the men's team while the women's squad comprised Vishika Chhetri, Parul Goswami and Vishakha Sheoran.

Both men's and women's teams would leave for Guwahati on February 10.
