Doha Diamond League Live Stream 2023: India's javelin star Neeraj Chopra will resume his title defence at the Diamond Leagues as he competes at the Doha event to kick start his 2023 season in the Gulf nation on Friday (May 5). Commonwealth Games champion Eldhose Paul will be in action too as the young triple jumper makes his debut in the Diamond League.
Neeraj Chopra, who won the Diamond League final in Zurich last year, will be up against his familiar foe Anderson Peters and Czech rival Jakub Vadlejch among prominent rivals. Star German thrower Johannes Vetter hasn't entered the event and is yet to compete this year after a shoulder injury forced him to miss much of the 2022 season.

Vadlejch is currently the world leader with an 88.38 m throw while Germany's Julian Weber, Finland's Oliver Helander, USA's Curtis Thompson, and Trinidadian Keshorn Walcott are other notable names that have entered the year's first major competition.
For Eldhose, the challenge will be steep as the debutant, who won the CWG gold with a 17.03m jump, will be up against reigning Olympic and world champion Pedro Pichardo and other notable names of the discipline. Italy's Emmanuel Ihemeje is the current World No. 1 with a 17.29m jump in the USA last month.
Cuba's Andy Diaz Hernandez, who made a massive 17.70m jump in Zurich last season, is also in attendance for the event along with compatriot Lazaro Martinez.
