Viktor Hovland and Ryan Fox will line up at Delhi Golf Club from October 15-18, 2026, as the DP World India Championship returns with a $4,000,000 purse. The pair join defending champion Tommy Fleetwood, Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose, giving the second edition a field stacked with DP World Tour and PGA TOUR winners.

Hovland and Fox will compete alongside some of the best players in the world, as Delhi Golf Club once again stages the event. The 2026 DP World India Championship will be the eighth of nine tournaments in the Back 9 phase, building towards the DP World Tour Play-Offs and the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in November at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai.

DP World India Championship returns for Hovland and debuts Fox

Hovland is set for a second straight appearance at the DP World India Championship after finishing tied sixth on debut in October last year. The 28-year-old became the first player from Norway to win on both the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR and is a three-time Ryder Cup player for Europe.

Those Ryder Cup appearances included Europe’s back-to-back wins in Rome in 2023 and in New York in September last year. Reflecting on the Delhi experience, Hovland said: "I really enjoyed the experience at the DP World India Championship last year. We had a lot of fun both on and off the golf course, and the welcome we received everywhere we went was incredible, so I can't wait to get back to Delhi in October."

DP World India Championship attracts Fox and strengthens DP World presence

Fox, a four-time DP World Tour winner, will play a professional event in India for the first time when Fox tees off at Delhi Golf Club this year. The New Zealander claimed two PGA TOUR titles in 2025 and is this week defending the RBC Canadian Open, adding further form and profile to the DP World India Championship line-up.
