Nikhat's stunning 5-0 victory over Kazakhstan's Tomiris Myrzakul in the women's 52kg category has set the stage for a thrilling final showdown.

Joining Nikhat in the finals are three other Indian pugilists - Minakshi (48kg), Anamika (50kg), and Manisha (60kg) - who have showcased their dominance in their respective weight categories.
Minakshi and Manisha displayed commanding performances in their semi-final bouts, securing unanimous 5-0 victories against their Kazakh opponents, Gulnaz Buribayeva and Tangatar Assem, respectively. Meanwhile, Anamika advanced to the finals after her opponent, Gulnar Turapbay of Kazakhstan, was disqualified for excessive holding.
Despite a valiant effort, Sonu (63kg) and Manju Bamboriya (66kg) concluded their campaigns with bronze medals after facing tough defeats in their last-four clashes. Sonu narrowly lost to Uzbekistan's Zieda Yarasheva with a scoreline of 2-3, while Manju Bamboriya succumbed to a 0-5 loss against China's Liu Yang.
Looking ahead, Shalakha Singh Sansanwal (70kg) and Monika (81+kg) are set to compete in their semi-final matches later today, aiming to secure berths in the finals.
