Embassy Riding School To Host Equestrian Premier League 2024

The Embassy International Riding School (EIRS) has been hosting the Equestrian Premier League (EPL) since 2010, and it has become a significant event in India's equestrian calendar.

The EPL aims to raise equestrian standards and enhance riders' international competitiveness through Dressage and Jumping competitions.

Embassy International Riding School's role in EPL

Silva Storai, Director at EIRS, explains that the league was established to provide riders with a platform to improve their fitness, build confidence, and showcase their talents.

Before the E, athletes had limited opportunities, with only the Junior National Championship and National Equestrian Championship held between November and February. The league's popularity grew as it encouraged investment in horses and offered a structured schedule of events.

14th edition of Equestrian Premier League

The 14th edition of the EPL will commence on June 28, 2024, at Embassy International School Bangalore. Around 20 equestrian clubs from South India and Mumbai are expected to participate. The tournament is divided into three categories: Sub Junior Category (80 to 90 cm Show Jumping and Sub Junior Dressage), Junior Category (105 cm Show Jumping and Junior Dressage), and Senior Category (120 cm Show Jumping and Advance Dressage). The EPL will feature three shows each month from June to November 2024.

EPL Schedule

The program schedule for the upcoming EPL is as follows:

• June: 28th to 30th
• July: 26th to 28th
• August: 2nd to 4th
• September: 27th to 29th
• October: 4th to 6th
• November (Finals): 22nd to 24th

The June equestrian shows will take place on the following dates:

• June 28, 2024 (Friday): 2 PM to 6 PM
• June 29 and June 30, 2024 (Saturday and Sunday): 7 AM to 6 PM

The event venue is Embassy International Riding School, located at Tarahunise Village in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
