Capello dumps Green over USA blunder

Johannesburg, Jun 18: After his massive blunder turned around England's opener match against US, the goal keeper Robert Green may be replaced by David James for the country's second match against Algeria, scheduled to take place on Friday, Jun 18.

According to Goal.com, England manager Fabio Capello will be naming David James in goal for the game against Algeria in Cape Town.

Earlier, there were reports that Capello was assessing Green's mental state after the opener against America.

The coach was reportedly pushed into taking his decision after Green committed similar error in training on Thursday, Jun 17.
