England faced by growing injury crisis on Proteas tour

By Super Admin

Johannesburg, Nov.16 (ANI): England have been hit by a growing injury crisis, with four players sitting out training on Saturday.

T20skipper Paul Collingwood has a stiff back, James Anderson's sore right knee has flared up again, Graeme Swann has a mild side strain and Stuart Broad still cannot bowl without severe pain.

Of all the injured players, Broad is causing the most concern. He has had a cortisone injection in his right shoulder in a bid to get him fit for the 50-over match against South Africa A on Tuesday.

But Broad still cannot rotate his arm fully. He is frustrated at his slow recovery andheadmits it is touch and go whether he will make that game, The Mirror reports. (ANI)
