Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu Dreams Of Becoming Mongolia's First Two-Division MMA World Titleholder
Reigning ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu has set his sights on becoming Mongolia's first-ever two-division ONE World Champion, with Chinese featherweight king Tang Kai squarely in his crosshairs.
The 37-year-old Mongolian has systematically dismantled his division since arriving in ONE Championship. Baatarkhuu carries a 7-1 ONE record as part of his 14-3 overall MMA career, with nine victories coming by finish.

Currently riding a four-fight winning streak, the protege of former ONE Featherweight MMA World Champion Narantungalag Jadambaa reached the pinnacle in December 2025. Baatarkhuu submitted Fabricio Andrade to capture the bantamweight crown.
Baatarkhuu's motivation extends beyond personal achievement to national pride. He aims to etch his name in Mongolian combat sports history.
"All martial artists have a dream to become multi-division champions, right? For me, it's the same. Most importantly, I want to make history as the first-ever two-division Mongolian MMA World Champion. That is the biggest motivation for me to challenge Tang Kai for the featherweight belt," Baatarkhuu said.
"If ONE Championship gives me the opportunity, I would like to really challenge and go up against Tang Kai. I think he's also really hungry to fight, so it should be a great fight," he said.
Baatarkhuu refuses to predict how a potential showdown would unfold, though he envisions a grueling five-round war where victory is possible through any method.
"After Tang Kai and myself go inside the cage, I don't know what will happen. I don't know how the fight will end, whether that's by a knockout or submission. I see a five-round war. For me, there's a chance I can go the distance with him and beat him," Baatarkhuu said.
