The 18-year-old is now the third-youngest driver to reach an F1 podium, following Max Verstappen and Lance Stroll.

Antonelli described the podium celebration as more thrilling than he had imagined. "Well, it was much better than what I imagined," said Antonelli. He expressed how hearing the crowd gave him goosebumps and left a lasting impression. "That is definitely a moment I will remember for a very long time." Russell's victory came from pole position but concluded under a safety car due to an incident between McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Antonelli acknowledged Russell's influence on his performance this season. "It's also down to George this result because he has helped me during this first part of the season to develop and push myself even further."

"I'm still aware there's a lot of work to do, especially when it comes to qualifying, trying to be quicker at the beginning of the session," he added.
