Reigning ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Fabricio "Wonder Boy" Andrade will make his highly anticipated return to the Circle at ONE 170 on 24 January at Bangkok, Thailand's prestigious Impact Arena.
The 27-year-old Brazilian superstar will defend his title against the South Korean knockout artist and #3-ranked contender Kwon Won Il. This will be the second time they face each other. In June 2022, Andrade knocked out "Pretty Boy" in the first round.

The Fortaleza native has been on a roll since his ONE debut in July 2020, finishing all but one of his opponents. In October 2022, he challenged MMA veteran John Lineker for bantamweight belt.
Fabricio Andrade was leading but the fight came to a halt when he accidentally landed a low blow, and Lineker was unable to continue. As a result, the match ended in a no contest.
Four months after their controversial fight, the Evolve MMA and Tiger Muay Thai representative triumphed over his compatriot to claim the bantamweight title. Later that year, in pursuit of two-sport glory, Andrade challenged ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Jonathan Haggerty for the division's vacant kickboxing belt but lost.
The Brazilian, who boasts an MMA record of 9-2 and a Muay Thai/kickboxing record of 40-4, will have to face a tough challenge from Kwon. The 29-year-old star's last defeat came against Andrade and, since then, he has secured three successive TKO wins against world-class fighters.
The dynamic and aggressive Kwon is a 13-fight veteran in ONE with a record of 9-4. All his victories have come by finishes, showcasing his tremendous finishing ability. Now, he aims to settle an old score and claim the biggest prize of his career.
The card of ONE 170 will be headlined by the two blockbuster Muay Thai fights. In the main event, Tawanchai defends his ONE Featherweight Muay Thai World Championship against Superbon in a monumental rematch.
The co-main event will feature pound-for-pound striking great Superlek Kiatmoo9, who will defend his ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title against tough Scottish sensation Nico "King of the North" Carrillo. Here is how the card looks as it stands:
