JINSON JOHNSON, ABHISHEK SINGH THAKUR, RAHUL, RAHUL BALODA, SACHELAL PATEL have also breached the qualification mark for Asian Athletics Championships

Aishwarya Mishra is DISQUALIFIED for lane infringement as she stood on the lane. Priya HM was promoted to the gold medal with a timing of 53.40 seconds.

Jinson Johnson puts on his best show of the season with a timing of 3:44.43 seconds to take the gold medal. Compete result to follow soon.

Amiya Mallick is finally declared the winner with a timing of 10.31 seconds. Elakkiyadasan K finishes a close second with a timing of 10.37 seconds. Odisha' Dondapati Mruty is third at 10.40 seconds. Punjab's Gurindervir Singh, however, has a complaint that he never heard the gun go off at the start. The jury is doing a recheck. The complete result to follow soon.

AFI officials have asked Priya Mohan to submit a written complaint after the 400m results are announced. The jury will take a call on the matter after that.

Rajesh Ramesh and Muhammad Ajmal set the 400m final on fire with 45.75 seconds and 45.85 seconds timings respectively. The duo finish first and second ahead of national record holder Muhammad Anas (46.19 seconds) and Arokia Rajiv (46.54 seconds).

Gold- SRABANI NANDA 11.572 seconds; Silver- ARCHANA S SUSEENDRAN 11.663 seconds; DANESHWARI A 11.69 seconds

There's much confusion here regarding the results of the 100m race as there seems to be technical issue with the photo finish. Timings are yet to be revealed as runners, including likely winner Amiya, wait for the result to be revealed

Srabani Nanda (11.57 seconds) wins 100m sprint final during a close race with Archana Suseendran and Daneshwari Aiswhwarya, who finished second and third respectively.

Annu Rani is off to a winning start in the season with a 59.24 metre. Speaking to myKhel after her winning throw, the javelin national record holder said she wants to go back to Germany as soon as possible and train with her coach Werner Daniels. A visa issue has kept her in India so far.

Annu Rani's fourth attempt lands a 57.61m. Effectively qualifies her for the Asian Athletics Championships. Hardly a surprise as the qualification standard is as low as 54.73. Her result will be followed as soon as the event is over.
Women's Triple jump and men's shot put have begun with the latter's national record holder Tajinderpal Singh Toor in action. Also, Annu Rani is competing in the women's javelin final.
