Fergie warns Rafa that his big guns will go for the kill

Moscow, Oct.21 (ANI): Manchester United coach Alex Ferguson has warned Rafa Benitez he will have his big guns back to face Liverpool.

Wayne Rooney, Patrice Evra, Ryan Giggs and Darren Fletcher missed Manchester United's trip to Moscow. But if under-pressure Benitez is hoping they will be absentees for this weekend's Anfield clash, he has another thing coming.

"We are hoping we get the main players fit because it's a big game. Evra will be fit for Sunday. He's just had a little problem with his heel. I'm hoping Rooney, Giggs and Fletcher will be fit," The Sun quoted Ferguson, as saying.

Rooney, nursing a calf injury from England duty last week, will be a late call for the Kop showdown. Ryan Giggs should shake off a slight cold while Darren Fletcher has responded well to treatment on a groin problem.

If the quartet all return, they could help to put an end to Liverpool's title bid having lost four games already.

Fergie will tonight be focusing on moving a step closer to qualification for the last 16 in the Champions League. Two wins out of two against Besiktas and Wolfsburg have put United well on track. (ANI)
