Port Elizabeth: South Korea hit the pitch all guns blazing as they took out their big stage experience and outclassed Greece in their opening encounter of the Group B match in Port Elizabeth.
Semi-finalist in the 2002 World Cup when they co-hosted the competition were too quick for the Greece players on the pitch.

Lee Jung-Soo got the opening goal for the Koreans in the seventh minute as Celtic's Ki Sung Yueng's freekick from beside the left corner managed to beat the Greek defence for Lee to volley in at the far post.
The Koreans came close again in the 27th minute after Park Ji-Sung's superb through ball found Park Chu Young whose shot was deflected over the crossbar by keeper Alexandros Tzorvas.
In the second half, Park Ji-Sung, skipper of South Korea scored the second goal for the Asian giants making a strong run past Greek defence as they had no answer to the South Korean attack.
The Greek though they had a dominant crowd, never managed to come back.
