Final Leg of women Tour to tee off at DLF Golf Country Club

Gurgaon, Feb 20 (UNI) India's top pros will be seen in action at the 6th and Final leg of the season for the DLF Women's Golf Tour to be played at DLF Golf and Country Club here from Thursday.

The 6th Leg, will witness 2-days of exciting golf as the field includes Nonita Lal Quereshi, Irina Brar, Parnita Garewal, Shalini Malik. Missing from this leg is Simi Mehra Guffin, a seasoned pro playing on the LPGA circuit. It will also feature Priyanka Jain from Jaipur and Sanam Merchant of Mumbai.

The pros will tee off at 8.30 am.

The Women's Golf Association of India (Pro golf) launched women's professional golf in October 2005 with a "Skins game" played between USLPGA players and Indian Mrs Simi Mehra Guffin.
