Final round of NFL to kickoff from March 25

Kozhikode, Mar 20 (UNI) Six leading soccer teams in the country will vie for honours in the second and final round of National Football League at the Corporation E M S Stadium here from March 25.

Of the six teams, Chirag United Kolkata and ONGC Mumbai had arrived in the city to take part in the 15-day event, Kozhikode District Football Association Vice President A K Musthafa today said.

The other teams, Vasco Goa, Salgaocar Goa, Viva Kerala and Army XI Bangalore would reach here in a day or two, he said.

The top two teams from this phase of the league would be placed in first division of the National Football League.

Mr Musthafa said the stadium was spruced up for the smooth conduct of the event.
